Truro Neighbourhood Policing Team school patrols

Truro Neighbourhood Policing Team will be conducting regular school patrols over the coming months within the Truro Sector policing area (Truro and surrounding areas, Perranporth, St. Agnes, Goonhavern, Porthtowan and the Roseland).

We would like to request that drivers refrain from parking in such a manner that causes an obstruction or parking on the pavement as shown in the photo example which an officer came across the other day in close proximity to a school. Unfortunately, parking like this can mean that pedestrians are forced to walk on the highway, and during busy times such as school drop offs and pick ups, this can be dangerous due to the volume of traffic increasing significantly.
